Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin, Alexa Ilacad, and Other Star Magic Artists “Share the Magic” this Christmas


‘Tis the season to celebrate love as one family as Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin, Alexa Ilacad, and other Star Magic artists “Share the Magic” by giving back to their select beneficiaries.

“Share the Magic” is an initiative of Star Magic wherein artists spread the love and gratitude this Christmas season by helping a charity or beneficiary of their choice.


“Fractured” stars Francine, Seth, and Raven Rigor kicked off the campaign by visiting an orphanage named Ephesus: Home for Girls. Francine couldn’t help but feel emotional after they were able to bond with the children and learn more about their struggles at an early age.

We want to share the love, especially sa mga bata. Ayokong mawala sa kanila ‘yung Christmas feeling. Kasi kapag lumalaki ka na, parang nawawala ‘yung excitement na magpa-Pasko na,” said Francine in a vlog released on Star Magic’s YouTube channel on why they chose to visit the orphanage.


Alexa Ilacad also spread Christmas cheer, together with Star Magic comedians Eric Nicolas and Nonong Ballinan, with “Laban Lungs: A Benefit Concert for Sherwin Buenvenida.” Sherwin is a former head writer for ABS-CBN who is currently battling cancer.

I can’t imagine what kuya Sherwin went through, what his family went through. I hope you know that I’m here. We’re going to do everything we can to help,” said Alexa in a heartfelt message.

Viewers can look forward to more "Share the Magic" videos featuring other artists soon as Star Magic continues to celebrate the magic of giving back.

Meanwhile, Star Magic artists will come together once more as they celebrate the spirit of togetherness and thanksgiving in “Star Magical Christmas,” which will be livestreamed worldwide on Star Magic's YouTube channel on November 19 (Sunday) at 6 PM (Manila time).

Viewers will be able to stream the white carpet event and the main program where they can tune in to their favorite artists’ fun Christmas-themed attires and celebrate the milestones of Star Magic as the talent agency awards its loyal artists.

Five ABS-CBN Journalists Earn Local and International Recognition


Karen Davila, Mike Navallo, Dennis Datu, Jervis Manahan and Jacque Manabat added feathers to their cap as they were recognized by international agencies and local award-giving bodies for their excellence in journalism.

Karen Davila, who anchors “TV Patrol” and “ANC Headstart,” was appointed as the National Goodwill Ambassador for the Philippines by UN Women to amplify critical issues and inspire change, drawing attention to the role of women in development and nation building, promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment.

It is an honor to be UN Women’s first National Goodwill Ambassador for the Philippines. I will be working with many others who speak out in support of UN Women to help bring about positive change in mindsets, behaviors, and hopefully, in the everyday lives of women and girls,” said Karen.

Meanwhile, Mike Navallo was the recipient of the esteemed Jaime V. Ongpin (JVO) Award of Distinction, presented by the Center for Media Freedom and Responsibility (CMFR), while Dennis Datu was named as TV Reporter of the Year by the Manila Overseas Press Club during its first-ever MOPC Bell of Freedom and Excellence Award.

Additionally, Jervis Manahan won Best Online Story at the 16th Bright Leaf Agriculture Journalism Awards for his special report “The Onion Story,” which probed the problems of onion farmers in the country.

Jacque Manabat attended the World Creator Festival, an event that aims to celebrate the people who shape how netizens consume media and information, in South Korea as the only Filipino journalist invited by the organizers.

Guests absolutely loved the Cream-O Choco Dipped, a delightful treat that combines the irresistible flavor of Cream-O Vanilla cookies with the rich indulgence of vanilla fondue drizzled with mix of blue and white sprinkles, adding a delightful crunch to every bite. Another Cream-O creation that Cream-Oholics couldn’t get enough of was the Cream-O Sweet & Salty Duo, a creation that transformed Cream-O Premium cookie into a delectable delight as they are drizzled with luscious caramel syrup and sprinkled with sea salt. The result is harmonious blend of sweetness and saltiness that will leave your taste buds craving for more.

The Choco Brick Road was a whimsical pathway that transported Cream-Oholics into a world of chocolate-coated dreams, featuring an interactive LED floor that created vanilla and choco splash steps as they walked. This LED-lit road added a whimsical touch to the event, making walking on chocolate a reality. As visitors strolled along this delightful chocolate-themed pathway, they couldn't help but feel immersed in the choco vibe of the event. It was an enchanting experience that engaged all the senses, from sight to taste.


3. Interactive Digital Choco Fountain: Sweet Interactive Fun

At the intersection of the Choco Brick Road, our event centerpiece was a 360-degree LED with an interactive choco waterfall in the center that let guests "play" with the Cream-O Choco waterfall. This captivating addition served as the heart of the event, where Cream-Oholics could immerse themselves in a choco wonderland. As guests entered the event, they were greeted by an enchanting interactive digital Choco fountain. This cool installation not only added to the festive atmosphere but also allowed attendees to indulge in some interactive chocolatey fun. It was a perfect way to set the tone for the Choco Happy Place experience and marked the beginning of their delicious journey.


4. House of Cream-O Stash Dash: A Sweet Adventure

The House of Cream-O offered Cream-Oholics an exciting treasure hunt. Guests had the chance to explore the house and uncover hidden choco goodies. It was a thrilling adventure that added a layer of exhilarating excitement making it a memorable experience for all.


5. Special Guests: Games and Exciting Engagements

Popular content creators made a special appearance at the event and joined in on the fun by hosting a game segment where lucky contestants not only took home exciting prizes but also engaged with the social media personalities in the event.

AIR SUPPLY “The Lost in Love Experience 2023” Concert Tour in Laguna on December 15, Sold Out!


In less than a month, Air Supply will be performing live in the Philippines! 

Get ready to sing along with the iconic Australian soft rock duo as they return to Sta. Rosa, Laguna, for another SOLD OUT show at the Santa Rosa Sports Coliseum on December 15, 2023, for their “The Lost in Love Experience 2023” concert tour.

Air Supply achieved widespread success in the 1970s and 1980s. The duo consists of singer-songwriter and guitarist Graham Russell and lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock. They had a succession of hits worldwide, including eight top-5 hits on the US Billboard Hot 100. One of the hits is their timeless classic song “Lost in Love”, which was released in Australia in 1978 and again soared to the top of the charts. It found its way to Clive Davis, founder and president of Arista Records, who immediately offered Air Supply a record deal. The song was released in 1980 and became the fastest selling in the world, topping the charts in a multitude of countries. “All Out of Love” was the second single released and topped the worldwide charts once again.

Seven consecutive Top 5 singles at that time equaled The Beatles’ run. The albums Lost in Love, The One That You Love, Now and Forever, and The Greatest Hits sold more than 20 million copies. “Lost in Love” was named song of the year in 1980, and along with the other singles, it sold more than 10 million copies.

Air Supply released their fourth live album, “The Lost in Love Experience,” in 2019 and kicked off the same-titled world tour that captivated audiences around the world. They were the first western group to tour China, Taiwan, and most of Southeast Asia. Some of these countries have forbidden pop music to cross their borders but this does not restrict the population explosion of Air Supply’s supporters as this iconic duo always have sold out shows all over the world, including their upcoming show in Laguna this December, just like their first time at Laguna in 2018. Kapamilya artist Janah Zaplan longs for her great love in her first Christmas single “Pasko’y Nagbabalik.”

The track highlights the importance of spending the holiday season with loved ones. It was composed and produced by ABS-CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo.

This is a reminder how good this season is by reminiscing memories and creating new ones this Christmas,” Janah described the song.


Janah is one of the up-and-coming artists from the Kapamilya music label Star Pop headed by Roque “Rox” Santos. Kapamilya P-POP Boy Band BGYO Records NSYNC’s New Single “Better Place” For Filipino Audience From the Movie “Trolls Band Together” Soundtrack

Well, P-pop fans, get ready to be even more psyched! Popular P-pop boy band BGYO has recorded their own official version of the “Better Place” chorus to celebrate the release of the much-awaited Trolls Band Together in the Philippines on November 15.


I enjoyed listening to the music in the past Trolls movie so we are very excited to be a part of this one!” says Nate Porcalla, the youngest of the group. His BGYO brothers - Gelo Rivera, Akira Morishita, JL Toreliza and Mikki Claver are just as excited to share their version of the catchy “Better Place” chorus with their fans, the ACEs.

Beloved for its signature psychedelic joy-bomb of new and classic pop hits, the latest sequel in the Trolls movie franchise puts the spotlight on band music. And when it comes to Pinoy pop music or P-pop – our own version of deliciously catchy pop band music in the same vein as K-pop and J-pop – who knows better than BGYO?
