BINI "Cherry On Top" Sneak Preview Out Now in Mobile Rhythm Game "Superstar Philippines"

The Philippines' leading girl group BINI releases a teaser of their new song, "Cherry on Top" last July 1 in the mobile rhythm game, Superstar Philippines.

Fans was able to play the first 60 seconds of the song in-game, before its highly-anticipated commercial release on July 11 (Thursday).

BINI is the first international artist after EXO to preview a song in the Superstar Series, which is known for fun rhythm games that feature global hits, enabling users to immerse themselves in the world of their favorite chart-topping songs.

Transcending the boundaries of P-pop into the realm of mobile games, this latest venture of BINI provides a glimpse into the expansion of the country's music industry as ABS-CBN continues to champion Filipino talents on the world stage.

Formed in 2021, the nation’s girl group composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena has been making waves in the music scene with hits like “Karera,” “Pantropiko,” and “Salamin, Salamin.”

The group is gearing up for their first solo concert, “BINIverse,” which will take place from June 28 to 30 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City followed by its regional leg in Baguio, Cebu, and General Santos City in July. They are also slated to have a concert tour in the US and Canada later this year.

The Straw Hats Return to South Africa to Begin Production of "One Piece" Season 2 with Returning Cast Members

Netflix announced the start of production on Season 2 of the beloved live action adventure "One Piece" reuniting the original Straw Hat crew, Iñaki Godoy (Monkey D. Luffy), Mackenyu (Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero (Usopp) and Taz Skylar (Sanji) as they come back together in Cape Town.

Returning cast from Season One also include: Ilia Isorelys Paulino as Alvida, Jeff Ward as Buggy, Michael Dorman as Gold Roger.

Previously announced new cast members joining season two include Brendan Sean Murray as Brogy, Callum Kerr as Smoker, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Clive Russell as Crocus, Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, Julia Rehwald as Tashigi, Rob Colletti as Wapol, Ty Keogh as Dalton, and Werner Coetser as Dorry.

Teaser of Action-Drama Series “Lavender Fields” Starring Jericho, Janine, and Jodi Earns 10M Views Online, Top Trending Topic in June

Anticipation among viewers is rapidly growing for ABS-CBN’s grandest series “Lavender Fields,” bannered by Jericho Rosales, Janine Gutierrez, and Jodi Sta. Now a Dad of Four, GRU Faces One of His Life's Most Hilarious Challenges in "Despicable Me 4," Showing in PH Cinemas on July 3

“Gru has his hands full, as usual,” says Steve Carell, who voices the beloved villain-turned-good-guy Gru.

In the latest installment to the beloved Despicable Me franchise, Gru’s life is turned upside down with the arrival of his and Lucy’s (Kristen Wiig) new baby, expanding his role to a father of four and a dedicated Anti-Villain League (AVL) agent.

While his relationship with Lucy and the girls has never been stronger, connecting with little Gru Jr. has proved challenging. “Lucy and the girls have always been his motivation to be the best that he can be, but with the arrival of Gru Jr., the family dynamic changes,” continues Carell. “Gru Jr. is a chip off the old block, but he’s not warming up to dear old dad. Gru has nothing but love for his baby boy, but he faces an uphill battle to win his son’s affection. Also, he’s not the best actor, so that invariably leads to some problems!”

When Carell first took on the role of Gru, he never anticipated the enduring journey ahead. “From day one, Gru has been an absolute delight to play,” Carell says. “When we first meet him, he’s an evil, villainous criminal mastermind. But soon, we come to see that he also has an enormous heart, and a great capacity to love. He’s sort of a villain, kind of a hero. But mostly, he’s a husband and a father.

“I think that it’s fun to watch a character fight against the inevitability of their own goodness. Some people aren’t so nice, but they try to convince the world that they are; Gru is nice, but he tries to convince the world that he’s not! As the series has progressed, the writers have explored different aspects of Gru’s world. He’s still the same guy, but the emotional stakes become increasingly higher for him. It’s always rewarding to see a character grow, and Gru is no exception. The writing keeps the character fresh.”

As much fun as the Academy Award®-nominated Carell has been having being the voice of Gru, the Despicable Me filmmakers have also been enjoying their collaboration of more than 10 years with Carell, who has become synonymous with the iconic character Gru in the world of Despicable Me.

ABS-CBN’s kiddie gag show “Goin’ Bulilit” returns with fresh faces led by “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” star Baby Giant and “It’s Showtime” kids Argus, Kulot, Imogen, Jaze, and Kelsey in its newest season premiering on July 1 (Monday) on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, ALLTV, A2Z, and iWantTFC.

Baby Giant, who plays Oweng in “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” shared how blessed he is to be part of this iconic Kapamilya show with the new generation of child stars. He also expressed his gratitude to Coco Martin, who allowed him to be part of the show.

"Sabi niya (Coco) na para sa akin ito. Super supportive po siya sa akin. Super thankful po ako mapasama sa 'Goin Bulilit.' Para po sa akin, ito po ay isang big opportunity," he said.
