Jollibee’s Joyful Christmas Stores are Back, Bringing the Pasko-est Holiday Season Nationwide

This holiday season, Jollibee is once again going all-out in spreading Christmas cheer across the Philippines by transforming select branches into “Joyful Christmas Stores.” For the second year in a row, the quick service restaurant chain is inviting families and friends to visit their brightly lit and merrily decorated stores as they celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.

Based from the classic 1982 film "Himala" topbilled by Ms. Nora Aunor, CreaZion Studios, MMFF 2023 Best Director Pepe Diokno, composer Vince De Jesus, and National Artist Ricky Lee team-up to bring the classic once again to the big screen via the Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 entry "Himala: Isang Musikal".

Leading the cast is Aicelle Santos, who reprises her role as Elsa. Joining her in the cast are Bituin Escalante, Neomi Gonzales, David Ezra, Floyd Tena, Vic Robinson, Joann Co. With the special participation of Ms. Nora Aunor.

"Himala: Isang Musikal" tackles themes of faith and truth. The film follows a woman named Elsa in the small town of Cupang. The Virgin Mary allegedly appears as an apparition to Elsa, and she becomes a savior who heals the sick and is believed to be behind the miracle of making it rain in their town which has been suffering from a long drought.

An official entry to the MMFF 2024, "Himala: Isang Musikal" opens December 25 in theaters nationwide.
