Ryan Bang Courted, Ghosted Yeng Constantino

Yeng Constantino, on Saturday episode of "It's Showtime" revealed that Ryan Bang used to buy her coffee when the latter was still courting her 12 years ago. But also curious and confuse on why he suddenly disappeared and stopped seeing her without any explanation.

To his defense Ryan said, “Akala ko wala akong pag-asa. Akala ko ayaw mo sa akin.

"Minamaliit ko yung sarili ko. Kasi no’ng mga panahon na yon, wala akong kotse. Nagdi-date kami, sumasakay pa ako sa ’yo no’n. Tapos no’ng kumain tayo sa Serendra, kasama yung kuya mo, gusto ko talaga manlibre sa pamilya mo, e wala ako talaga pera no’n Kung hindi ako naduwag no’n, kung pinu-push ko yung naramdaman ko sa’yo no’n, baka hanggang ngayon, tayo pa rin.”

Yeng also clarified that the song “Chinito” was not meant for Ryan. Though she said her song ‘Babay’ can be a fit representation of what happened between them in the past.

“Pwede mo naman akong i-text
Pwede ka rin namang tumawag
Pwede rin namang ipasabi kay Manong Bogart
Pero bigla kang nawala
Para kang naging bula....
Bigla kang nawala
Sana nagpasabi ka man lang
Hindi gan'to wala akong alam
Ang dali kayang magsabi ng babay
Babay
B.A.B.A.Y.”

Vice Ganda, meanwhile, has this message to people who like to ‘ghost’:

Huwag kayong papasok sa mundo ng kahit sino na akala mo walang mangyayari sa kanila, na walang epekto sa kanila. Kahit sino man ang pumasok sa mundo natin, may epekto yun. Kaya kung papasok kayo, kung lalabas kayo, magpaalam kayo.”

"Minsan, kahit hindi mo nga naging jowa, e, basta nagparamdam na sa ‘yo tapos biglang nawala, naku, napakasakit talaga." Yeng said in agreement with Vice Ganda's sentiments.

Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson Star in Valentine Movie "Marry Me," Showing Starting February 9 in Cinemas Nationwide

Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson star in "Marry Me," a fresh and relevant romance for this modern age – 21st century Roman Holiday meets Notting Hill.

In Marry Me, we meet Kat Valdez (Lopez), half of the sexiest celebrity power couple on Earth with hot new music supernova Bastian (Maluma, in his feature-film debut). As Kat and Bastian’s inescapable hit single, “Marry Me,” climbs the charts, they are about to be wed before an audience of their fans in a ceremony that will be streamed across multiple platforms.

Then there’s divorced high-school math teacher Charlie Gilbert (Wilson) who has been dragged to the concert by his daughter Lou (Chloe Coleman, HBO’s Big Little Lies) and his best friend Parker (Sarah Silverman, Hulu’s I Love You, America). When Kat learns, seconds before the ceremony, that Bastian has cheated on her, her life turns left as she has a meltdown on stage, questioning love, truth and loyalty.

Marry Me proposes that if what you know lets you down, then perhaps what you don’t know is the answer, and so, in a moment of inspired insanity, Kat chooses to marry Charlie. What begins as an impulsive reaction evolves into an unexpected romance. But as forces conspire to separate them, the universal question arises: Can two people from such different worlds bridge the gulf between them and build a place where they both belong?

As fantastical as the premise for the film may seem at first, film director Kat Coiro (who also currently serves as executive producer and director for the majority of the series in Marvel’s She Hulk for Disney+) shares that many of the greatest true love stories often started in improbable, or impossible, ways. “When it comes to love, nothing is truly impossible. When you start asking people how they met their partner, you’ll hear these stories that seem like everything had to line up for that relationship to happen,” Coiro says. “Beneath all the wildness of this story, these are just two people meeting and falling in love, which happens every day.”

That perspective on the film was exactly what Lopez and her fellow filmmakers were looking for. “Kat had a real vision for what this movie could be,” Lopez says. “She was also fantastic to work with throughout the development of the film. People are going to love her work in this.”

Lopez, as both the film’s leading lady as well as a producer, brought every aspect of her experience at the height of the entertainment industry to bear on making the film into a true romantic event for audiences.

Jennifer Lopez immediately connected with Kat and the film’s themes on multiple levels. “I understand this life,” Lopez says. “The film is literally going behind the veil of what it’s like to be a celebrity.”

Save-the-date! A Universal Pictures International release, Marry Me will open in Philippine cinemas starting February 9.

Angela Ken Lands in Times Square, NY Billboard as Spotify PH Equal Playlist's Cover

Young Kapamilya musician Angela Ken is the latest female artist to land a coveted billboard feature in the middle of Times Square in New York City as the face of Spotify Philippines’ EQUAL campaign this January.

Barely a year into her music career after she signed with ABS-CBN Music and released her massive hit “Ako Naman Muna” in March 2021, Angela said she is speechless with all the blessings that has been happening to her.

I am out of words and words will never be enough to say how blessed I am to have amazing people in my life,” Angela wrote on Instagram. She also encouraged her supporters to never give up on their dreams saying, “Darating din tayong lahat, maniwala lang tayo sa Panginoon at sa sarili natin.”

Spotify’s EQUAL playlist is a global women-focused initiative that aims to highlight female creators on the platform to foster equity in the music industry. Other Filipina artists who were previously named artist of the month are Nadine Lustre, Kiana V, Ylona Garcia, KZ Tandingan, and Belle Mariano.

Meanwhile, Angela recently dropped her new single “It’s Okay Not To Be Okay,” which she co-wrote with ABS-CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo in collaboration with the ‘King of Talk’ Boy Abunda, whose trending question in the Binibining Pilipinas 2021 pageant served as the inspiration behind the song.

After its release, “It’s Okay Not To Be Okay” was included in Spotify’s New Music Friday editorial playlist in the Philippines and landed an international feature in New Music Friday Gulf. On Apple Music, it was featured in New Music Daily and Absolute OPM playlists.

Stream Angela’s “It’s Okay Not To Be Okay,” out now on various digital music streaming services worldwide. For more details, like Star Music on Facebook (www.facebook.com/starmusicph) and follow it on Twitter and Instagram (@StarMusicPH).
