Typhoon Ofel - PAGASA Weather Update October 25, 2012 At 7:00 am today, October 25, Typhoon Ofel has made landfall over the southwestern part of Masbate and over Sibuyan Island.    The center of Ofel was estimated based on satellite and surface data over Sibuyan Island, Romblon(12.4°N, 122.5°E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 20 kph.
