BINI Takes on the Philippine Game of "SHAGIDI" in New Music Video

The Philippines’ hottest girl group BINI unleashes their fierce and charismatic side in the newly dropped music video for their latest single “Shagidi,” now streaming on their official YouTube channel.

The colorful and eye-catching video, which was conceptualized by YouMeUs MNL, shows the members Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena unleash their hip dance moves as they mimic the Filipino game “Shagidi Shagidi Shapopo” in a skate park.

“We want to find ways to reflect who we are and where we come from. For our Filipino fans, we hope it sparks pride and for our foreign audience, we want it to be a gateway for them to be curious about our country,” Jhoanna said.

“We want to explore new things and ‘Shagidi’ brought us a new BINI flavor and personality. It gave us a chance to explore a fiercer side of ourselves in this song and video,” Aiah added.

"Shagidi” was first released in June as a tour single for the group’s “BINIverse World Tour,” which has brought them to Dubai, London, and various cities across US and Canada. The song was born from a songwriting camp in Davao, Philippines with composers Marqueze Parker, Tommy Brown, Courtin Jabrae, JBach, and Angela Ken.

The new music video follows their recent wins in The New Hue Video Music Awards for Group Artist of the Year and Concert of the Year. BINI also brought home the OPM Artist of the Year and PPop Artist of the Year at the Monster RX 93.1’s Monster Music Awards 2024.

Korean Actor Kim Ji Soo Turns Heads at the GMA Gala 2025

The GMA Gala 2025, held at the Manila Marriott Grand Ballroom, was a night to remember, and all eyes were on the dashing Korean actor Kim Ji Soo. Arriving in a handsome ensemble by renowned designer Randy Ortiz, Ji Soo looked perfect on the red carpet, ready for all the photographers.

No one can deny that Kim Ji Soo turned heads in his sleek black suit, making a striking impression at the black-tie event. His presence was highly anticipated, especially following his remarkable performances and projects in the local entertainment industry.

Ji Soo surprised everyone by making a cameo in the GMA action series Black Rider in 2024. Netflix Announces Season 3 Renewal for Live-Action Pirate Adventure "One Piece," Unveils First Look at Season 2 Called "One Piece: Into the Grand Line"

During annual One Piece Day celebration in Tokyo, Japan, Netflix shared a first look at the highly-anticipated season two of the epic pirate adventure series called "One Piece: Into the Grand Line", returning in 2026.

The series has also been given an early Season 3 renewal, which will begin production in Cape Town, South Africa later this year. Ian Stokes is set to join Joe Tracz as co-showrunner for Season 3.

"One Piece" is a live-action pirate adventure created in partnership with Shueisha and produced by Tomorrow Studios (an ITV Studios partner) and Netflix.

Netflix’s epic high-seas pirate adventure, "One Piece," returns for Season 2 - unleashing fiercer adversaries and the most perilous quests yet. Toniyuh, The Multitalented Social Media Influencer is Taking Over the Internet

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, Toniyuh has done well to pay homage to his heroes. In one of his most viral videos, Toniyuh sings along to the “Ice Cream Yummy” song in the voices of different celebrities. In just 41 seconds, Toniyuh does spot on impressions of Kathryn Bernardo, Leni Roberdo, Alice Guo, Kween Yasmin, and Toni Gonzaga.

“In my experience, I have always been following the celebrities that I loved - watching their movies, series, guestings, etc,” said Toniyuh on his impressions. “For me, it’s a good factor as a fan and having this platform to entertain people using my talent as a celebrity voice impersonator.”

This simple video, filmed straight to a phone camera in Toniyuh’s own home has already garnered over 15.2 million views on TikTok as well as 1.5 million likes. For Toniyuh, this video changed everything. With the success of his video creating massive interest in his channel, @iamtoniyuh on TikTok now has over 300,500 followers.

Acer Day 2025 Breaks a Limit with Technology, Music, and the Country’s Biggest Artists

Acer Day 2025 at the Mall of Asia Arena was an epic night of technology, music, and star power with some of the country’s biggest artists sharing one stage! More importantly, the evening was a celebration of its theme, “Break A Limit,” highlighting the drive to overcome obstacles, reach new milestones, and push boundaries. As a tech company, Acer’s mission is to provide the necessary tools that empower individuals to break their limits.

The Mall of Asia Arena was a sea of green as fans and supporters braved the Saturday afternoon traffic for Acer and their favorite artists.

Returning for its ninth consecutive year, Acer Day set the stage for performances by its star- studded roster of ambassadors Sarah Geronimo, SB19, and G22. Acer also welcomed its new ambassadors from Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition Housemates Klarisse De Guzman, Mika Salamanca, Shuvee Etrata, Esnyr Ranollo, Will Ashley, Brent Manalo, Ralph De Leon, and Charlie Fleming. They were joined by guest artists KMKZ, Itchyworms, and Maki. The event was hosted by Robi Domingo.

As is Acer Day tradition, there were many collaborative stages, demonstrating that breaking the limit is possible.

PBB Celebrity Collab winner duo BreKa performed “Tibok” by Earl Agustin, Ralph and Shuvee thrilled the crowd with “Palagi” by TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan, and Klarisse and SB19’s Stell gave a vocal masterclass with “A Million Dreams.” Will, Charlie, and Esnyr showed their powerful dance moves along with SB19 in their song “CRIMZONE.”

The Honmoon was sealed with G22’s performance of “Golden,” and Pop Royalty Sarah Geronimo showed MOA Arena why Popsters have remained loyal through the years as she performed “Tala” and “Kilometro.” SB19 did not disappoint the waiting crowd with their hits “DAM” and “DUNGKA!”

More electrifying collaboration stages set the Mall of Asia Arena on fire with SB19 and G22’s performance of “8tonball,” and the most anticipated first live performance of “Umaaligid” by SB19 and Sarah Geronimo. The night ended with Acer’s original song, “Ace Your World.”

When his father’s plane crashed, Kenneth (Daniel) encounters Kelay (Kathryn), whose mom has a connection with Kenneth's dad. The pair goes to Bicol to discover the truth about their parents.

“Loving in Tandem” shows the hopeless romantic Shine (Maymay) who wishes to meet her one true love. Shine unexpectedly meets Luke (Edward), a rebellious Fil-Am who was sent to the Philippines by his father from the United States.
