PUREGOLD Releasing More Tickets to OPM CON 2025 Featuring SB19, BINI, Flow G, Skusta Clee, KAIA, G22, and SunKissed Lola

Due to the incessant demand for tickets, Puregold will be dropping one final wave of ticket selling for the biggest music event of the year: OPM Con 2025. Happening on July 5, OPM Con 2025 will feature some of the biggest names in the Pinoy music scene, such as SB19, BINI, Flow G, Skusta Clee, KAIA, G22, and SunKissed Lola.

The final ticket selling wave will run for just one day - June 28 - at Puregold Cubao. Tickets across various seating sections will be available while supplies last.

Although ticket sales was meant to wrap up last May 30, Puregold decided to mount one more ticket selling event to allow as many OPM music fans as possible to celebrate the best of Filipino artistry.

“We heard the requests, and we listened. So here we are excitedly giving fans one more shot at the most panalo music event of the year,” said Puregold senior marketing manager Ivy Hayagan-Piedad, asserting that “OPM Con 2025 is all about the panalo stories behind every OPM fan and Puregold shopper.”

Unlike previous ticket selling waves that were exclusive to Aling Puring and Perks members, this final round of ticket selling is open to all customers who will visit Puregold Cubao on June 28. Just by shopping, customers may receive free tickets based on their minimum single receipts that correspond to specific seating sections. Loyal Puregold shoppers, in particular, will get the chance to avail of the following options:

● Premium Patron (PHP 6,000)

● Regular Patron (PHP 5,000)

● Lower Box Premium (PHP 4,500)

● Lower Box Regular (PHP 3,500)

● Upper Box (PHP 2,500)

● General Admission (PHP 1,500)

To avail of the tickets, Puregold customers can ask for queueing numbers upon entry to the ticket selling venue, and then buy their groceries, the total costs of which have corresponding ticket sections. They can then line up at the Enlistment and Confirmation booth and present their queuing numbers and Aling Puring or Perks cards, as well as their receipts, to have their transactions confirmed.

Unlike previous selling waves, physical tickets for the event will be given upon confirmation, without the need for further online redemption. Groceries paid for with cash or credit card, as well as P-wallet cash-in, will be accepted for redemption.

Adults claiming tickets to be used by minors are reminded of the policy in which minors are only allowed at the concert venue when accompanied by an adult ticket holder, with the VIP section being restricted to concert goers who are at least 10 years old. Other ticketing tiers will allow children as young as 4 years old.

Make-A-Wish® Partners with GMG Productions’ “Come From Away” to Support Children with Critical Illnesses

Nonprofit organization Make-A-Wish® Philippines has partnered with GMG Productions for a special fundraising performance that aims to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Through a local production of the award-winning Broadway musical, “Come From Away,” the partnership aims to bring a lifetime of hope to children in need with this special night of entertainment.

Based on real events, “Come From Away” is set in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, where 38 planes carrying 7,000 passengers were grounded right after the September 11 attacks. Despite growing tension in the country, the local townsfolk offered their homes and hospitality to the stranded strangers, welcoming them as neighbors in their time of need.

In real life, one of the grounded planes was a Make-A-Wish flight, carrying children with critical illnesses and their families on the way to Disney World, Florida. Due to the postponement of the much-anticipated trip, the town came together to throw a party for the children, complete with mascots, music, cakes and clowns. This is just one of many stories from Gander that inspired the musical, showing how kindness can help change people's lives.

Under the direction of Michael Williams, “Come From Away” has been adapted to a local audience, celebrating the power of community and generosity. And with its upcoming staging on June 27 at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Circuit Makati, limited tickets will be available for the VIP section, with proceeds going towards bringing hope, strength and joy to the children who need it most.

Marking a major milestone in her career, Asia’s Phoenix Morissette Amon stars in her first major movie lead role as Ma’am Alma Taldo, the devoted founder of Bohol’s Loboc Children's Choir (LCC). Her deeply moving performance earned her a Best Actress recognition and a nomination for the Audience Choice Award at the 2025 Manila International Film Festival.

Song of the Fireflies is a tribute to the extraordinary journey of the Loboc Children’s Choir, which began in the 1980s in the quiet riverside town of Loboc, Bohol. Composed of children as young as 9 to 13 years old, the choir had to rise above poverty, limited resources, and natural calamities – all in pursuit of a single dream: to let their voices be heard beyond the walls of their classroom. Their dreams burned brightly, fanned by the steadfast guidance of their teacher, Ma’am Alma, and the unwavering support of Equet Butalid, a cultural advocate of Bohol who believed deeply in their talent.

Over the years, the choir’s dedication and extraordinary talent earned them well-deserved recognition both locally – where they were honored with the prestigious Gawad CCP Para sa Sining, the highest award given by the Cultural Center of the Philippines – and on the world stage, bringing home top honors from the European Folksongs Festival in Barcelona, Spain twice (in 1993 and 1995) and later claiming the coveted Gold Medal in the children’s choir category in 2001. Their inspiring journey proves that even the smallest voices can echo across the globe, and that no dream is ever too big when pursued with courage and heart. Cardong Trumpo is “Pilipinas Got Talent” Season 7 Grand Winner

Ricardo Cadavero aka Cardong Trumpo emerged as the Grand Winner of ABS-CBN's talent reality show “Pilipinas Got Talent” Season 7 after beating seven other jaw-dropping acts in the show’s grand finals held at The Theater, Solaire Resort in Paranaque City.

Cardong Trumpo garnered 99.5% of the combined votes from online voters and judges and took home P2 million cash prize. The construction worker secured his victory after his breathtaking performance balancing the "trumpo" in nylon threads.

“Ipinagdadasal ko lang na magkasya sa amin yung isang kilong bigas pero sobra-sobrang yung binigay mo Lord, thank you. At sa inyong lahat, maraming salamat sa suporta,” Cardong Trumpo said after he was named as the newest “PGT” grand winner.

Throughout Ricardo’s "PGT" journey, he won the hearts of viewers as his audition video earned more than 22 million views. He also got the highest votes during his semifinal performance, which earned him a grand finals slot.

On the other hand, the all-gay dance group Femme MNL, which performed a high energy routine paying tribute to their parents, came in second place with 50.4% and won ₱150,000.

Carl Quion, who wowed the judges with his magic act of turning back time and paying homage to Philippines’ Comedy King Dolphy, placed third with 47.8% and got P100,000.

The five other finalists, Manza (44.6%), JB Bangcaya (44.4%), Jessie J (40.5%), NDDU Gnrls (37.1%), and Ody Sto. Domingo (32.2%), also gave their best performances.

Gracing the final showdown of “Pilipinas Got Talent” Season 7 were Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano, who performed “Hataw Na” and “Sins of the Father” lead star Gerald Anderson.
