Derek Ramsay is Box-Office King, Anne Curtis and Cristine Reyes Box-Office Queens in 43rd Box-Office Entertainment Awards
The Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation (GMMSF), through its president Mrs. Corazon Samaniego, has released the full results of the 43rd Box-Office Entertainment Awards.
Kapatid star Derek Ramsay received the Box-Office King award for his box-office hits Unkabogable: Praybeyt Benjamin and No Other Woman while her No Other Woman leading ladies Anne Curtis and Cristine Reyes named last year's Box-Office Queens.
Aside from the Box-Office Queen award, Anne also received the Most Popular Female Novelty Singer award.
Vice Ganda, Derek's co-star in Unkabogable: Praybeyt Benjamin was given the Phenomenal Box-Office Star award, a new category, to recognized her box-office star appeal for the said movie which earned a total of P331.61 million - the highest box-office returns in 2011. Vice also named last year's Male Concert Performer of the Year.
Meanwhile, the Box-Office Tandem award (also a new category) was given to Vic Sotto and Ai-Ai delas Alas for their hit Metro Manila Film Festival 2011 movie Enteng ng Ina Mo which raked a total of P237.88 million in box-office sales.
