TV5's ‘The Million Peso Money Drop’ Continues to Provide Life Changing Experience to Filipinos
TV5’s The Million Peso Money Drop continues to change Filipinos’ lives with its unique blend of excitement and suspense in each hour-long episode. Only half-way through its maiden season in the Philippines, the show has become a fast favorite among viewers - with more and more people live-tweeting the show on Sunday nights.
The show’s distinct format is designed to keep everyone on their toes - from the contestants and the audience to the viewers at home and host Vic Sotto. To date, only two pairs of contestants have emerged victorious from The Million Peso Money Drop and both agree that being on the show has done wonders for their relationships.
Andrew and Ging Domingo took home PhP150,000 from the show - a sizeable addition to their savings to take their daughter to Hong Kong Disneyland next year. Fiancées Rema Mallillin and Jeremy Casaul also conquered The Drop and can now work on their dream wedding with their PhP100,000 take-home prize. Both pairs said they were tested while playing for The Million Peso Money Drop’s grand prize.
On the other hand, certified Bossing of All Game Shows Vic Sotto is optimistic that more contestants will win big on The Million Peso Money Drop.
