Khimo Shares "Happy Ending" Story

“Idol Philippines” season 2 winner KHIMO has released his latest R&B/ soul single “Happy Ending” inspired by a long-distance relationship he previously had.

Our love story started because we both knew a couple that were in an LDR and they were on the verge of breaking up. The guy was my friend, the girl was hers,” he narrated. “We started speaking because of the other couple and their issues. That discussion turned into a conversation, and that conversation turned into our love story.

The Kapamilya singer said they ended up together in spite of their own LDR situation.

Our couple friend broke up, but we promised each other we wouldn’t be like them even though we were apart. In the end, we got together that’s why the song is called ‘Happy Ending.’”

KHIMO composed the Taglish single with the help of ABS-CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo who also produced the song, Jeremy Glinoga, and Star Pop label head Rox Santos.

“Happy Ending” follows KHIMO’s debut single “Nasunog” released last July. The two singles will be part of his upcoming album to to released under Star Music.

Check out KHIMO’s “Happy Ending,” now streaming on various platforms. It is slated to be part of Jace’s upcoming album. For more details, follow Star Music on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok, and YouTube.
