In a surprise Facebook Live, Willie Revillame, one of the most well-loved Filipino television hosts known for his unique brand of entertainment, has announced the title of his grand comeback show on TV5, “Wil To Win.”

The rebranding of his social media pages from “Wowowin” to “Wil To Win” marks his exciting partnership with MQuest Ventures, Inc.

“Wil To Win” captures the spirit of determination of every Filipino to win in life. BGYO Grooves Through Love in New Song "Gigil," Dominates the iTunes Charts in PH, Saudi Arabia, UAE


BGYO expresses adoration for a potential love in the group’s new single “Gigil.”

The Filipino boy group also released its performance video which captures the allure of a brewing love matched with a fresh and upbeat sound that showcases a new side of members Gelo, Akira, JL, Mikki, and Nate.

This time, they have taken more control in expressing their ideas and vision through their music.

Before we recorded the song we would meet on what we could do to make it more kami,” Mikki said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

“Gigil” was produced by FlipMusic’s Bojam and composed by Julius James “Jumbo” De Belen and John Michael Conchada. The track has already earned 116,000 streams on Spotify while its performance video garnered over 100,000 YouTube views in a week after its release. It also dominated the iTunes chart in the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and was featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday Philippines.

Earlier this year, BGYO released the old school-inspired track “Patintero” which has reached 1.8 million streams on Spotify. They also performed “Uuwian” from the soundtrack of “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim” along with JL who released his solo version of the song. ABS-CBN Foundation and UNIQLO Philippines Join Hands for Ocean Conservation Efforts


ABS-CBN Foundation, Inc. (AFI) inked its partnership with the Japanese global apparel retailer, UNIQLO, through a Memorandum of Agreement. This collaboration underscores their joint efforts for the Citizen Science program of AFI’s environmental arm, Bantay Kalikasan. The signing ceremony was held last May 30 at UNIQLO Manila Global Flagship store in Glorietta, the largest flagship store in the country and Southeast Asia.

Through the Citizen Science program, a network of scientists can train AFI’s partner communities on the reef, mangrove, and seagrass monitoring within the Verde Island Passage (VIP). ABS- CBN Foundation Managing Director, Roberta Lopez-Feliciano expressed how UNIQLO adds a significant layer of support to the community involvement and research initiatives of the program.

She stated, “this partnership helps us pursue the dream of providing many lives with choices. Because often, the only choice is where to find the next meal. It [also] comes at a very unique moment. Last year, Verde Island Passage was internationally recognized as a Hope Spot. And recently, it is where the Department of Energy is directing for cleaner sources of energy, alongside DENR’s push to keep the ‘center of the center of marine biodiversity’ intact and remain even better for generations to come.

Lopez-Feliciano also demonstrated her enthusiasm by inviting UNIQLO Philippines to explore some areas of the 1.14-million-hectare passage.

Prior to the partnership, UNIQLO has long embodied the “the power of clothing” through projects that care for the people, planet, and society. Now, joining forces with AFI, UNIQLO Philippines’ Chief Operating Officer, Geraldine Sia further emphasized the common thread that seams this partnership together.

This partnership with ABS-CBN Foundation reaffirms UNIQLO’s commitment to harnessing the Power of Clothing to contribute to the preservation of the environment for the generations to come. Through the Citizen Science program, we can equip communities not just with the knowledge and capacity to help preserve the environment, but also provide opportunities that can help them with their livelihoods,” Sia stated.

One of UNIQLO’s sustainability measures is to reduce the use of single-use paper in their stores. The brand encourages the use of reusable shopping bags instead by charging PHP 2.00 for each of their FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified recycled paper bags. The proceeds from these sales support environmental causes, such as AFI’s marine biodiversity efforts in the VIP and Haribon Foundation’s forest conservation initiatives.

This joining of hands marks AFI and UNIQLO Philippines’ initial efforts in the protection and conservation of the planet, from ridges to reefs and beyond.

Jamie Rivera Sings "Ningas ng Pag-asa," The Filipino Version of Jubilee 2025 Hymn "Pilgrims of Hope"


OPM singer Jamie Rivera has released the inspirational song “Ningas ng Pag-asa,” the Filipino version of the Catholic Church’s official hymn for Jubilee 2025 “Pilgrims of Hope.”

Maestro Francesco Sequeri composed “Pilgrims of Hope,” which is also the theme of The Jubilee 2025.

The song was adapted into Tagalog by Jamie and released under ABS-CBN's Inspire Music label. It features the group 92AD, who also gave life to the year 2000’s “Jubilee Song (The Great Jubilee)” composed by Fr. Carlo Magno Marcelo.

Jamie, also known as the Inspirational Diva, is the singer behind renowned praise songs “Only Selfless Love,” “Tanging Yaman,” “We Are All God’s Children,” and many more. Last year, she released collaboration singles “3 in 1” and “Faith, Hope, and Love.”

ABS-CBN Board of Directors Appoints Charo Santos-Concio as Director


ABS-CBN Corporation has appointed former ABS-CBN president and CEO Ma. Rosario “Charo” Santos-Concio to its board of directors.

In a disclosure to the stock exchange on May 30, ABS-CBN said the company’s Board of Directors elected Charo as a director, filling the board vacancy left by the passing of Atty. Augusto Almeda-Lopez.

Charo served as ABS-CBN president and CEO and held various roles in the company including chief operating officer, chief content officer, president of ABS-CBN University, executive advisor, and head of Channel 2 Mega Manila Management.

She was named Asian Media Woman of the Year by ContentAsia, Woman of the Year by the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, and recipient of the Gold Stevie Award in the Female Executive of the Year in Asia, Australia, or New Zealand in the Stevie Awards for Women.

Charo graduated as a cum laude of St. Paul’s College in Manila with a degree in Communication Arts. She also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2007.
