How to avail of The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf®’s 2013 Giving Journal:

A minimum single-receipt purchase of any Original Ice Blended, Coffee-based, or Tea-based Beverage, or Frozen Swirl, qualifies you to get a stamp card. Each card consists of 12 stamp boxes, with corresponding drink assignments. These are as follows:

a. 1 Original Ice Blended (any flavor, regular or large)
b. 1 Espresso Drink
c. 1 Tea Latte (any flavor, regular or large)
d. 1 Red Velvet Hot Cocoa or Red Velvet Ice Blended (regular or large)
e. Any 8 Regular or Large Original Ice Blended, Coffee-based or Tea-based Beverages, or Frozen Swirl

Each purchase of the said product from The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf® entitles the bearer to a stamp on a corresponding box on the card.

Once all the 12 boxes have been stamped, the bearer can claim his Giving Journal by surrendering the accomplished card to any of our 50 stores all over the country, during which the cashier will punch a hole in the card to prevent reuse.

Promo period is from October 31, 2012 to January 6, 2013.

Barack Obama won the election for second term as US President defeating closest rival Republican Gov. Mitt Romney on Tuesday, November 6.

His winning marks another history for Obama and the US as he now becomes the only the second Democrat to win a second four-year White House term since World War II.

"This happened because of you. Thank you," the first black US President said to his 22 million followers on Twitter.

The fourth vignette titled “Bituin,” highlights the magical feeling found in making a child’s wish come true as a little boy, determined to play the lead role in a Nativity play, receives a big surprise from his parents.. Watch the video below:

To redeem the 2013 planner, coffee lovers must accumulate a total of 17 stickers on their Starbucks Christmas Traditions Promo card (free). Out of the 17 stickers, 9 of the purchases must be a Holiday Feature Beverage of your choice. A sticker is awarded for each Starbucks handcrafted beverage purchase.

What to expect in this year's much-awaited planner:

Still in partnership with UNICEF, this year’s theme is “Moments of Connection” as highlighted in each pages on the planner.

After the record-breaking success and enthusiastic response received from the participants of the Kapuso Milyonaryo Promo earlier this year, GMA Network continues to offer its loyal viewers the chance to bring home millions of pesos with its newest promo campaign, Kapuso Milyonaryo Sa Pasko. And as the season of giving draws near, participants can also expect exciting Christmas packages to be given away!

During the promo period, which will run until December 23, GMA will give out P7,000 each to eight winners weekly (two from each area: NCR, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao), plus a whopping P1,000,000 each to four lucky winners - tax free!

Four winners will also have the chance to bring home any of the following Pamasko Prizes during the promo period - a computer showcase, kitchen showcase, home theater set and a 3-day-2-night trip to Boracay for three.

For Jason Fernandez, leaving Rivermaya is one of the most difficult decisions he has made in his lifetime. The said step tested not only his faith, but also his courage to continue his passion for music. Luckily, he has supportive friends and colleagues to encourage him to continue doing what he is destined to do – sing, make music and entertain.

Jason’s new album Panimula is an emotional, musical testimony to his challenging, yet fulfilling journey as a musician.

Produced by Jason and with the support of his new band Sta. Maria, Panimula, under Ivory Music and Video, boasts of having six tracks and one bonus track.

I have been working on this album for the past year, and I am very proud with how everything turned out,” says Jason. “The wait is definitely worth it. The album follows my journey as a musician.

When asked what the public can expect from the album, Jason quips that its sound will show his musical influences, including his former band Rivermaya.

It is undeniable that Rivermaya and its music made me evolve not just as a musician, but also as a human being. The group has taught me a lot, and this album will prove that,” says Jason. “I will forever be grateful to Rivermaya for the opportunity and the lessons that they have imparted to me.”
