It’s like watching “Showtime” on the road as hosts of the hit morning talent show sang the theme song and fooled around with their hilarious banters while roving around the metro aboard the Unkabogable Party Party Bus recently to drumbeat ABS-CBN’s upcoming noontime show “It’s Showtime” premiering this Monday, February 6.
Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Vice Ganda, Billy Crawford, Karylle, Kim Atienza, Jugs, and Teddy together with “Showtime” hurados and now hosts Jhong Hilario, Ryan Bang, and Coleen Garcia, went to Brgy. Santolan in Pasig City, and Brgy. Nangka in Marikina City for a quick mobile meet and greet and gave out premium “It’s Showtime” merchandise such as shirts, fans, stickers, and baller IDs.
Despite the scorching heat, the crowd waited patiently just to see their favorite Kapamilya stars. All efforts paid off as the hosts gamely interacted with them and had fun with them under the heat of the sun. On their way to these destinations, the hosts also endured the risks of getting hit by electricity wires, tree branches, and even overpass bridges they pass by as they were sitting on top of the bus.
The bus also drove along Commonwealth Ave. to EDSA Monumento to the surprise of by standers along these roads as they didn’t expect to see the “It’s Showtime” hosts in person. Hosts again gave out merchandise to the madlang people.
As they return to ABS-CBN compound, the employee madlang people warmly welcomed them back while waving “It’s Showtime” flaglets.
Overall, the event was a huge success and it even created a buzz online as it trended on Twitter, both worldwide and on the Philippines alone.
What can viewers expect in this new noontime show? Find out this Monday, February 6, in the premiere of “It’s Showtime” on ABS-CBN.
