Kim and Jerald Kick Off the New Season of "Stars on Stars"

Real-life couple Kim Molina and Jerald Napoles reveal the secret to their long-lasting relationship and some of their unforgettable on-screen moments in the new season of Jeepney TV’s hostless talk show “Stars on Stars.”

The celebrity couple reflected on their situation during the pandemic where they lived under the same roof. Jerald also confessed how it made him realize that he wanted to spend his future with Kim.

“No’ng pandemic nalabas natin lahat. Kahit may mga away, naayos natin ‘yon. Naisip ko bigla na ‘kaya ko pala lagpasan yung gano’n kasama ka’ kaya sabi ko na ito na ‘yon,” explained Jerald, who will be part of the upcoming ABS-CBN series “Sins of the Father.”

Likewise, Kim shared how excited she is to fulfill her parents’ wish of seeing her walk down the aisle.

“It’s a gift for my parents. I’m looking forward to the time na sinunod ko yung pangarap nila kasi gusto nila makitang ikasal kami. Kaya rin si Jerald naunang mag-propose sa parents ko bago sa akin,” she expressed.

They also reflected on their experience filming the hit primetime show “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” where they played as husband and wife.

“Madali siya kasi aside from magkasintahan tayo, magaling na aktres si Kim,” Jerald said.

“It’s easy to work with Jerald because I know him as an actor kaya mas napapadali yung work ko tapos kapag nasa isang project kami, we study the script together kahit nasa bahay kami,” Kim added.

Kapatid Prince of Primetime Kiko Estrada Top Bills ‘Totoy Bato’

Even before the finale of the successful TV5 primetime series “Lumuhod Ka sa Lupa,” it was officially announced during a Story Conference at the TV5 Media Center that Kiko Estrada’s follow-up role will be the iconic titular character “Totoy Bato.” 

The story is inspired by the classic film of Da King Fernando Poe Jr., created by legendary comics writer and film producer Carlo J. Caparas.

Kapatid viewers can expect intense action and explosive fight scenes, as Kiko’s character becomes the savior of Pook Paraiso, using only his “kamao.”

As “Totoy Bato,” Kiko will go head-to-head with powerful families. He’ll be joined by a powerhouse cast - seasoned actors and some of today’s most talented stars.

Joining the cast of “Totoy Bato” are Bea Binene, Cindy Miranda, and Diego Loyzaga, along with Nonie Buencamino, Mon Confiado, Art Acuña, Mark Anthony Fernandez, and veteran actress Ms. Eula Valdez - with special participation by Joko Diaz, Katya Santos, Kean Cipriano, and Ms. Jackie Lou Blanco. "Shrek The Musical" is Coming Soon to Newport World Resorts

The world’s favorite ogre and his crew are stomping their way to the country’s pioneer integrated resort, Newport World Resorts. 

Just in time for the holidays, Newport World Resorts’ production outfit, Full House Theater Company, presents Shrek The Musical from October to December 2025 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.

The next Philippine production of Shrek The Musical is under the direction of Michael Williams, assistant direction by Cara Barredo, musical staging by Dexter Santos, choreography by Stephen Viñas, and music direction by Rony Fortich. Shrek The Musical is based on the story and characters from William Steig's book "Shrek!," as well as the DreamWorks Animation film of the same name.

Featuring music by Jeanine Tesori with book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire, the musical was originally produced on Broadway by DreamWorks Theatricals and Neal Street Productions in 2008. It received eight 2009 Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical, and won for Best Costume Design of a Musical.

With Shrek The Musical set to open this year, Newport World Resorts is on the hunt for talented performers to bring these beloved fairytale characters to life. Open call auditions for all adult roles will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Meeting Room 1, 3F, Hilton Manila. Registration runs from 9AM to 12PM, with auditions from 1PM to 5PM.

The production is casting for Shrek, the grumpy but lovable ogre; Princess Fiona, the beautiful Princess from Far Far Away who transforms into an ogre when the sun sets; Donkey, the fast-talking, ever-loyal sidekick; and Lord Farquaad, the comically short, ruthless ruler of Duloc. Other roles include the fiery Dragon, the sassy Gingy, the animated puppet Pinocchio, and the fearsome Wolf. The ensemble will play various fairytale creatures, guards, knights, and more. Strong vocal ability is required for all roles, with select roles requiring dance skills.

Those interested should prepare 32 bars of a song from their favorite musical and bring a minus-one track for playback. Applicants must also submit their latest CV, a 3R-sized headshot and a full-body shot, and fill out a registration form. Rehearsals for Shrek The Musical begin on August 18, 2025, from 2PM to 9PM, extending to 11PM during Tech Week, with performances scheduled from October to December 2025.
