The lone musical in the filmfest is a trippy rock opera set in 2030.
Khavn de la Cruz, the father of Philippine digital filmmaking, says it’s
a happy mix of “black comedy, strange plot twists straight from the
pages of ‘The Godfather’ and a little bit of singing”. The late film
critic Alexis Tioseco wanted this film made. Now we’ll know why.
