Vice Ganda nailed her impersonation of “MMK” host Charo Santos as she imparted advice and wisdom to social media content creators that played in “Everybody, Sing!” last September 12.
In the episode that aired on Kapamilya Channel and A2Z, Vice told the songbayanan to strive to produce and upload positive content for their viewers and not focus so much on virality and monetization.
“Masaya ‘yung monetization but it shouldn’t always be monetization ang purpose natin ‘di ba?
Just like the players, Vice is also a content creator online and currently has 5.85 million subscribers on YouTube. After hearing the story of fellow creators Aga and Jai, who have received negative comments on social media, Vice said they should not be swayed or bullied by bashers.
“The possibility with well-known people is to be misinterpreted.
Meanwhile, Fans of “Everybody, Sing!” are in for a treat as 100 “songbayanan” will be playing and singing with Vice Ganda in the show’s next six episodes starting this Saturday (September 25) on Kapamilya Channel and A2Z.
Dubbed as “100 Songbayanan Special,” these episodes of the “greatest community singing game show in the country” were taped before the pandemic in 2020 and features 100 players, 10 games, and a P2 million jackpot prize.
Isang malaking thank you namin ‘yan for everybody na nakipag-bayanihan sa amin sa saya at sa kantahan,” explained Vice after announcing the special last night (September 19).
First to display teamwork as they sing for the grand prize are the songbayanan of haircutters who will play this Saturday (September 25) and Sunday (September 26).
“Everybody, Sing” still airs at 7 pm every Saturday on Kapamilya Channel and A2Z while it starts at 7:30 pm on Sundays until October 3 right after “Legends of Dawn: The Sacred Stone.” It will return to its original Sunday timeslot at 7 pm on October 10. The program can also be viewed via Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, and TFC.
