Barely 3 months after opening its first branch in Tandang Sora, Quezon City, Kapuso actor-turned-restaurateur Ken Chan opens the second branch of his Christmas-themed business, Café Claus located at the GF Promenade in Greehills, San Juan.
Cafe Claus’ best-selling items include bibingka cheesecake, (called ‘Simbang Gabi’), putobumbong (named after his grandmother 'Soledad's Munting Pasalubong'), and roasted chicken (‘Roasting on an Open Fire’).
The also offer an all-day breakfast items that are named after the nine reindeers; soups from the presents of the Three Kings; and main plates from beloved Christmas songs' lyrics, just to cite a few.
Among other dishes that are truly delectable are the beef lasagna (Uriel’s Love), chicken pot pie (Gertrude’s Christmas), mushroom soup (Myrrh), shrimp poppers (Pere Noel) and spinach dip with crostini (Sinter Klaas).
They also have the Gingerbread Macadamia Latte, enjoying its sweet, slightly spicy and nutty taste.
Ken revealed that they’re opening another branch soon in Eastwood in Libis and by the end of 2022, there will be six Cafe Claus branches including a hotel and café concept in Antipolo and a farm concept in Tagaytay.
