Big Reveal! Ken Chan Talks About His ‘Quaranfling’

Versatile Kapuso actor, singer, host, entrepreneur Ken Chan bares his feelings during the quarantine with his newest single under GMA Music titled ‘Quaranfling,’ a follow-up to his 2019 hit song “1 Like”.

The "Mano Po: Her Big Boss" lead actor said that the song is a love story that was written during the height of the pandemic. “It’s a love story na nabuo during the pandemic. Na-miss ko talagang kumanta but because of GMA Music, nabigyan po ako ulit ng opportunity na magkaroon ng bagong single na ‘Quaranfling.’ Kaya I’m very thankful and blessed na ang GMA Music ay nakaisip ng ganito kagandang konsepto at ganito kagandang kanta na I’m very excited to share with all of our Kapuso listeners at sa lahat ng supporters ko. For sure, marami ang makaka-relate rito dahil sa title pa lang, alam mo na agad kung ano ang kwento.”

While everything is pretty much back to its old ways, the government even relaxes the safety protocols, and covid cases are continuously going down, Ken believes that the song remains relevant these days.

“Alam natin na maraming nabuong pagmamahalan while we are in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nakita natin na in spite of what’s happening ay may magagandang bagay pa rin na nangyari sa buhay natin. May silver linings na nangyari tulad ng time and love na nagawa ko ulit for myself, for my family, and for a special someone. So, itong bagong single ko, hindi lang ako ang naka-experience nito, maraming tao ang naka-experience nitong Quaranfling.”
