GTV's First-Ever Sitcom "Tols" Features Kapuso Heartthrobs Kelvin Miranda and Abdul Raman with Betong Sumaya and Rufa Mae Quinto

If you like "Palibhasa Lalake" then "Tols" is the show for you.

Beginning June 25, GTV viewers will have more reasons to smile with its first-ever family sitcom called "Tols".

Topbilled by this generation's roster of goodlooking and versatile young actors Kelvin Miranda, Shaun Salvador, and Abdul Raman. Joining them are Rufa Mae Quinto (Barbara "Barbie" Macaspac) who is making her much-awaited return in showbusiness and Kapuso host and comedian Betong Sumaya (Christopher "Tuks" Bayagbag).

Kelvin will play the role Uno, the eldest son of Barbie. During the show's grand presscon, Kelvin admitted that he is already feeling the pressure of headlining a comedy program - a genre far from his usual roles.

"Nanggagaling 'yung pressure ko roon sa makagawa kami ng panibagong clamor sa manonood. Kung paano nila magugustuhan ang Tols. Kung paano nila mamahalin ang bawat isa na wala kaming ma-o-offend, wala kaming natatapakan na paniniwala. Nag-iingat din naman kami sa bawat skit na ginagawa namin. May mga pagkonsulta sa mga nakakaalam kung okay ba 'yung mga gagawin namin bago isalang sa eksena. Added pressured pa na first time naming sumalang sa comedy. Kaya lahat ng chance na pupuwedeng matutunan namin kinukuha namin kapag taping day."

Shaun is the funny and madiskarteng second child of Barbie named Dos. In his interveiw, Shaun wasn't able to hide his excitement on his new show.

"Sobrang excited na kaming ipapanood sa inyo ang istorya kung paano nagkasama-sama muli, after nilang mahiwalay sa isa't isa mula pagkabata, ang triplets na sina Uno, Dos, at Third. Akala ko hindi ko na mapu-pursue ang aking dream na maging isang artista bilang kinakailangan kong mag-focus at i-prioritize ang pagtatapos ko sa college last 2016 - 2019, at lalo na nag-pandemic at natigil ang lahat. Pero hindi pa pala huli ang lahat," Shaun said.

Sparkle star Adbul, meanwhile, will play the role of Barbie's youngest child - ang makulit na si Third.

Completing the cast are Rolando Inocencio, Arkin Del Rosario, Olive May, and Raymond Mabute.

"Tols" is the child project of Tyrone Escalante Artist Management and Merlion Events Production Inc. and co-produced by GMA Network .

Premieres June 25, 7:00PM on GTV, "Tols" is under the direction of Monti Parungao.
