The movie "King of Hawkers" has not yet started filming, but the copyright has already been sold to the largest broadcasting network in the Philippines - GMA Network. 

Filmmaker Sun Liren revealed in an interview with "Lianhe Zaobao": "I will fly there on November 30. The movie has been sold to theaters and TV."

Kimson Tan will play Liu Jinsun, a gourmet peddler. He is impulsive, straightforward, speaks without thinking, often offends people, and is self-righteous. He and Chen Bei, the beautiful daughter of a single mother, are happy friends, and the two join forces to fight against the takeover of the big consortium.

Sun Liren said: "Although Kimson Tan is not a leading actor, he plays a very important role." Kimson Tan was born in China and grew up in the Philippines. He speaks fluent Chinese, is 1.85 cm tall, and has a handsome appearance. Sun Liren said that at this stage it is inconvenient to reveal who will play the male and female protagonists.

Celebrity chef Lin Baoshun won gold and silver medals in the food industry when he was young, and served as a food consultant for many movies, including "Crazy Rich" starring Michelle Yeoh and others. In "Little", he will bring more than 50 dishes of Lion City delicacies to the big screen, so that the audience will have a "sightseeing".

Sun Liren teamed up with Changxin Media to produce "The King of Hawkers" with a production cost of 1.8 million yuan. It is expected to start filming locally in March or April next year. Sun Liren said: "It is expected to be released at the end of next year or during the Lunar New Year in 2024."
