Shaina Magdayao and Jake Cuenca Pair Anew in 'Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo'

Shaina Magdayao is paired once again with Jake Cuenca in the upcoming afternoon teleserye with the working title Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo (formerly Doha).

Shaina Magdayao and Jake Cuenca have worked together in the past, the first was in "Your Song: A Million Miles Away," the fantaserye "Dragonna" and then the primetime teleserye "Rubi." So "Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo"  will serve as their reunion project.

The story of the teleserye revolves around the lives of Overseas Contract Workers (OCW) working in Doha, Qatar.

"Honored ako na ako 'yung napili na gumanap nga bilang isang OFW kasi ako mismo meron tayong mga relatives na nagtatrabaho sa ibang bansa." Shaina said.

"Aside from 'yung love story namin, doon din talaga umiikot 'yung story kasi pamilya namin, galing kami sa pamilya ng OFWs. Kami rin magkakaroon ng opportunity na makapunta sa ibang bansa at magtrabaho doon. 'Yung flashback magsu-shoot sa Abu Dhabi and sa Dubai, 'tapos sa Doha." she added.
