Navotas congressman Toby Tiangco apologised to the Senate after getting caught on cam during a break at the resumption of the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona at the Senate in Manila on Monday, March 12, without his shoes on.

"I did not mean to demean this honorable court or show disrespect. I was just tired, I wanted to relax a bit," Tiangco said , adding in jest, "Buti na lang ho hindi butas ang medyas."
