Glaiza De Castro Shares Story Behind Failed Bridal Shower

Glaiza De Castro's mom and sisters organized a surprise bridal shower for her before at a hotel she flew to Europe last year for her wedding with Irish boyfriend, David Rainey.

But things didn't go as planned after her driver tested positive for COVID-19 via antigen test so she opted not to attend for safety reasons even though she tested negative for the SARS-CoV-2 infection.

"Siyempre grabe 'yung iyak ko," said Glaiza in an Instagram story last week.

As Glaiza said, things happen for a reason.

"Kung natuloy kaming mag-stay do'n, tuluyan ko nang na-miss ang flight ko," the Kapuso actress said.

After all, it was still a night to remember as the group pushed through with the bridal shower after they transferred to Glaiza's condo unit in lieu of the COVID-19 circumstances.

"At hinde sila nag paawat, Binaklas nila yung set up at sa condo ko ginanap yung bridal shower lolol" Glaiza shared.
