King of Talk Boy Abunda, Ultimate Heartthrob Piolo Pascual, Award-winning actor JM de Guzman, actress-dancer-choreographer Ella Cruz, celebrity couple Jason Abalos and Beauty Queen Vickie Rushton, and singer-dancer-model-influencer Donnalyn Bartolome immediately went to work to endorse Ang Probinsyano Party-list (APPL).
Piolo Pascual joined hands with the Ang Probinsyano Partylist for a coastal and underwater cleanup drive at Brgy. Mainit in Mabini, Batangas on January 21.
Inspired by the backing of these personalities, Ang Probinsyano Party-list (APPL) vowed to continue its commitment of uplifting the lives of probinsyanos by pushing for its advocacies: food, health, livelihood and education.
APPL is listed as number 50 on the official ballot
Marked by motorcades followed by programs and rallies, the Ang Probinsyano Party-List kicked off its Luzon campaign in Marikina City, Visayas campaign in Cebu City and Mindanao campaign in Zamboanga Sibugay.
In his speech in Marikina, attended by King of Talk Boy Abunda who hails from Samar and actress Ella Cruz who is from Bulacan, Ang Probinsyano Party-List Rep. Alfred Delos Santos reiterated their battlecry of providing equal opportunities for all probinsyanos who compose a majority of the Philippine population.
JM De Guzman is proud to be a volunteer for the Ang Probinsyano Party-list and will be specifically involved with the Alagang Probinsyano program that provides free house-to-house medical checkups for partner communities.
Meanwhile, in Cebu City, Ang Probinsyano Party-List Rep. Edward Delos Santos emphasized the vital role of development in remote areas for the country’s overall progress.
In Zambaonga Sibugay, transport groups, health workers, women’s groups, local officials as well as members of the media, youth sector and the LGBTQ community joined the motorcade that was met with loud cheers from the crowd.
Boy Abunda and Ella Cruz joined APPL grand rally and motorcade in Marikina last February 9.
Celebrity couple Jason Abalos (from Nueva Ecija) and Vickie Rushton (from Bacolod City), who were present during the Cebu and Zamboanga Sibugay campaign launch, entertained the attendees.
Calling Zamboanga Sibugay their “lucky charm” for the province’s strong support during the last elections, Rep. Edward Delos Santos stressed that they made sure to fulfill the promises they have made to the residents when they won their seats in Congress.
Local officials present during the three campaign launches referred to the Ang Probinsyano Party-List as “a partner in progress” for embarking on projects that have significantly improved the lives of their constituents.
