Alex Gonzaga Suffers from Miscarriage, Mikee Morada Writes Message of Understanding and Hope

Alex Gonzaga bravely confirmed that she and husband Mikee Morada lose their first baby to miscarriage.

In an Instagram post, Alex said a month after she and husband Mikee found out that they were pregnant, the doctor told them a heartbreaking news that they might be having an anembryonic pregnancy (blighted ovum).

Alex admitted that the unfortunate event tested their faith but they remained hopeful for a miracle that an embryo would still appear. "Just last Tuesday, the Lord’s will prevailed and they finally closed the book of their first pregnancy," she shared.

She went on to share a short yet touching message for their baby. "To our baby whom we almost had, thank you for giving mommy and daddy joy even for a short span."

Mikee also confirmed the news in his Facebook page on Sunday, October 17. He expressed hope that he and wife Alex will have their prayers for a child granted someday.

"May mga pinapangarap at hinahangad tayo na ibibigay sa atin ng Panginoon sa panahon na alam Niyang mas para sa atin. Minsan mapapaisip at mapapaquestion tayo, pero yung tiwala natin sa Kanya ang dapat manaig🙏🏼 Hindi man natuloy, blessing at masaya ang maexperience na dalawang buwang buntis si misis. Sa maiksing panahon hinanda Niya kami para sa susunod. Lalong tumibay ang aming samahan bilang magasawa🙏🏼 pag pray niyo po kami ha! God bless!!"
